Dr Hagemeier CT

Computed tomography (CT) has been an important radiological procedure for decades, enabling areas of the body to be X-rayed in layers and displayed as cross-sectional images.

Such detailed views enable the exact location of affected tissues in relation to surrounding healthy organs.

Furthermore, using the spiral technique, examinations generally take fewer than ten minutes.

Oral and/or intravenous iodinated contrast agents may be used depending on the requirements for the scan. They are normally well tolerated.

If you have an allergy, take oral antidiabetic drugs, or have a history of thyroid disease,

please discuss this in advance with the medical personnel or the doctor.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or my CT personnel if you have any questions concerning the CT examination.
